All dancers will be cast to their best advantage. Role assignments will not become permanent until the dancer has been given a chance to try other roles (subject to the Director's decision). Partial casting will be posted a week before rehearsals commence. All understudies are required to learn the role and be present at all rehearsals.
Rehearsals will be scheduled on SATURDAYS and/or SUNDAYS beginning September 30th and will continue until the performances. Special rehearsals may be called if the need arises.
Dancers will be allowed one (1) absence for whatever reason. Inexcusable absences after then will be a cause for replacement of the role.
All dancers, parents/guardians must sign a Contractual Letter of Agreement with the Santa Clara Ballet Company before a participant will be allowed to rehearse.
Everyone is REQUIRED to be at the Dress Rehearsal on Friday, December 12th at the Santa Clara Convention Center Theater.
Participation fees must be paid before participants may rehearse. No participation fee will be refunded after the dancer has commenced rehearsals.
The following meetings are mandatory for all parents/guardians/dancers. They will be held at the Ballet Studio.
Saturday, October 17 — 11:00-12:00 pm
Saturday, November 14 — 11:00-12:00 pm
Note: October 26 is the deadline for mandatory fees (fundraising requirements).
It is the dancer's/parent's responsibility to check rehearsal schedules and announcements on the Bulletin Board. Updated rehearsal schedules and other announcements may also be available via our Website.
